In my humble opinion Manhattan, KS is not known at least for now for its culinary seen. I’ve been here a few months and haven’t been super impressed with the food here. But I was pleasantly surprised this evening when I visited Crunch Bear. The environment is calm and aesthetic is super cute. Great customer service. They have a small menu which I always applaud. Stick with what you know. I ordered their Ramen and it felt like a cozy hug this windy evening, just what I needed. The broth was delicious will for sure be coming back. Also just FYI they have a small Asian market in the back with lots of yummy treats to take home. Highly recommend, come check it out.
I stopped by to try their bubble tea. I ordered a Thai iced tea (comes with tapioca pearls). Delicious! Great flavor, and the pearls were cooked well in my opinion. They had a sweetness to them too. Price was reasonable. Would definitely come back for tea again! The store also has a section of goods like noodles and soup bases, etc. cute stationary too.
The chicken teriyaki bowl was exceptional—perfectly cooked with a well-balanced, flavorful sauce. The spring rolls had just the right amount of crispiness, adding a satisfying crunch to the meal. The edamame was a simple yet delicious addition, prepared to perfection. Overall, I was highly impressed with the quality of the food and would absolutely return the next time I’m in town.
This place is super cute! I love it. The boba is also yummy. I was not a fan of the meat in my ramen, the cuts we super fatty and gristly making the texture of it super off putting. But once I picked out the meat the rest of it was also super yummy. The staff is very kind and thoughtful. I highly recommend coming here for a bite to eat or to grab a snack and a gift in the store itself.
This is such a cool place! Everything I’ve tried from the menu has been so tasty and the people have been so kind and friendly every time I’ve gone in. The restaurant is a great food stop and the boba is the best in town, in my opinion. The store is also pretty cool. There are food items and little trinkets I’ve never seen before that I will definitely be back to further explore.
First time trying it, definitely getting bang for your buck. I got the teriyaki bowl! Tons of chicken, the sauce pairs great with it and seasoning is awesome! Def will be back, highly recommend!
I love this place! their steamed buns are so cute and yummy. My mom and i both got the tiger boba. absolutely delish! we also tried the egg rolls and those were really good too. Staff was attentive and very nice as well!
We recently tried the Teriyaki Chicken bowls, the Pork Bao Buns and egg rolls and everything was so flavorful. The egg rolls were so crunchy, I was craving more. The meal was a hit and definitely we'll be returning.
